Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 10 years of experience in disability rights, substance use recovery, community health, and LGBTQIA+ centered care. I believe in person-centered approaches to understand the role stories play in shaping our everyday lives. My work allows us to deconstruct how stories show up in the form of anxiety, stress, depression, and trauma. Together, we will harness your ideas, skills, beliefs, and experiences to reclaim the story you want to live.
I’m a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who believes mental health care should feel human—not rushed or impersonal.
I provide a non-judgmental space where you can speak openly and feel understood. My approach integrates thoughtful medication management with psychotherapy when appropriate, always tailored to your individual needs.
Diagnosis can be an important part of understanding your experience, but it’s only one piece of the picture. I look at your mental, physical, and emotional well-being, as well as the life experiences that shape what you’re going through.
I offer collaborative, grounded care to help you move toward a more balanced, integrative, and holistic sense of well-being.
I’ve worked as a therapist for the past ten years, helping people untangle their stories and find compassion for the messy, imperfect parts of being human. My own experiences as a client deeply shaped my approach. I bring empathy, warmth, and a genuine understanding of how vulnerable therapy can feel. I work with clients of all ages, from tweens to adults, to build insight, resilience, and self-acceptance. My style is collaborative and grounded in authenticity, humor, and humanity. Above all, I aim to create a space where you can feel understood, supported, and free to explore what healing might look like for you.
My path to this work has not been linear. I spent eight years at the VA working in a shelter setting with veterans in active crisis. That role was not traditional mental health therapy. It was showing up every day for people in some of the hardest circumstances imaginable, assessing for safety, connecting people to the right resources, and managing situations that required both calm and decisive action. I learned more about human resilience in those years than anywhere else.
Before and alongside the VA, I built experience in medical social work, school-based mental health with children, and home health. My background is clinical across the lifespan and rooted in medical and community settings. I bring that same groundedness to private practice.
I am an LCSW with nine years of experience and an MSW from San Jose State University. I work with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and the weight of managing a full life. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Motivational Interviewing, and I adapt my approach to the person in front of me.
Hi! My name is Lacy and I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have over a decade of experience helping people of all ages become their best selves. I believe everyone should have a space where they feel unconditionally supported and understood, with someone who will never judge them, and they can finally let out that deep breathe they've been holding in.
