Greetings! My name is Kimber Wright and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. I am passionate about assisting my clients in facing challenges and becoming the best versions of themselves
I'm a nature loving California native whose work blends depth psychology with nervous system healing, helping people move beyond simply coping and into a more authentic relationship with themselves. I have experience supporting adults through trauma, grief, anxiety, identity exploration, and major life transitions using body-based approaches. My clients are thoughtful, introspective, and feeling-types including Highly Sensitive People (HSPs), who are ready to explore themselves with curiosity, honesty, and compassion.
I have worked in the mental health field for approximately 10 years in different capacities. I have worked in the community assisting families, working with low income and more affluent individuals, parenting and assigning with supporting children with behaviors impacting their lives. I am committed to helping individuals learn to build healthier relationships with themselves as well as listening to your wants/needs. My work focuses on assisting you in targeting ineffective behaviors, habits, beliefs that impact your life. I believe in collaboration to helping you reach your goals.
For over 24 years, I've been a licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping people move through life's hardest moments with compassion and clarity. I hold a Master's in Social Work from New York University and have built my practice across New York City, Los Angeles, and the Bay Area — work that's given me a deep appreciation for how varied our life experiences and needs can be.
I provide trauma-informed care to clients of all ages, with particular focus on life transitions, stress management, relationship repair, crisis support, and treating anxiety, depression, and other emotional struggles.
I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who provides compassionate, patient-centered, and evidence-based care. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and supported. Together, we develop personalized treatment plans focused on your goals, well-being, and long-term mental health.
I'm a licensed clinical psychologist with 25 years experience providing assessment services and psychotherapy to a wide range of clients with a variety of presenting problems (licensed in California and Oregon). I specialize in conducting individual therapy with clients who are seeking to understand and change entrenched patterns underlying their mental health symptoms, unfulfilling relationships, and poor academic and occupational performance.
Therapy is a way of showing up for yourself, a path of self discovery where you can reconnect with who you are today and the life you truly want. I’ve supported people navigating addiction, trauma, depression, and anxiety, and I believe deeply in meeting you exactly where you are and wherever you feel ready to begin. Together, our sessions become a collaborative journey, with me holding safe, steady space for you as you grow into the person you’ve always had it within you to become.
I see therapy as a collaborative journey, where I walk alongside you rather than ahead of you. For nearly a decade, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism, substance use, chronic pain, and life transitions. My background in clinical psychology, along with board certification in biofeedback and neurofeedback, allows me to integrate both psychological and physiological approaches to healing. Most importantly, I deeply respect the uniqueness of your lived experience and strive to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered.
I provide a strong and attuned presence for you to safely process your deepest hurts, traumas, embarrassments, regrets, frustrations, and everything in between. I can walk with you on that path without judgment and help you get to the other side of your issue.
Before becoming a therapist, I was a teacher. I saw how core thought patterns and past trauma deeply impacted the learning and functioning of my students and this inspired me to become a therapist.
My background working in the fields of adoption and foster care led me to focus on healing trauma - childhood trauma or later traumas that impact our everyday functioning. I am here to help you heal. In addition to being an LMFT, I am also a Registered Yoga Teacher and I incorporate mental health practices with body work and breath work to reduce symptoms.
