She has extensive experience working at all levels of care across the lifespan and developing treatment programs. After a decade of experience as a psychologist, Kelsey was inspired to go back to school during the COVID-19 pandemic seeing the need for integrated medical and psychiatric care. She completed her accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida Atlantic University in 2022 and followed by her Master of Science in Nursing from St. Thomas University in 2024.
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years in the counseling field, including 8 years of clinical experience working with adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, grief, and difficult life transitions. I have a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling and am trained in EMDR and trauma-focused therapy. I especially enjoy working with women and mothers as they navigate relationships, family life, identity, and the emotional demands of motherhood. Having experienced infertility and the journey to parenthood myself, I have a personal understanding of the grief, uncertainty, and complicated emotions that can accompany that experience. My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized, creating a space where you can feel safe, understood, and supported. As a Christian, I’m also able to incorporate a Christian counseling lens into therapy if faith is important to you, while respecting each client’s individual beliefs, values, and preferences.
