I’m a therapist with extensive experience supporting individuals through challenging seasons related to mental health, personal and professional transitions, and incorporate career and academic support when valuable. I take a holistic view, considering emotional health alongside factors like habits, lifestyle, and overall wellbeing. My style is direct, thoughtful, and collaborative, with an emphasis on helping you clarify your values and move toward a more fulfilling life; supporting the process of bridging the gap between my client's goals and where they are at present.
I am a licensed APRN ,PMHNP with training in both general medicine and psychiatry, offering a comprehensive and integrative approach to patient care. My background allows me to understand the close connection between physical health and mental well-being, and I strive to treat each patient as a whole person rather than focusing on isolated symptoms.
I completed my medical training in general medicine and later specialized in psychiatry, gaining experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of medical and mental health conditions. My clinical approach combines evidence-based treatments with a compassionate, patient-centered perspective.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Hodges University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University. I have experience working in trauma-focused settings and have provided counseling services at the Center for Trauma Counseling. I also founded my private practice, Supportive Concepts LLC, where I continue serving individuals and families in the community.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based therapy that helps individuals process and heal from trauma. While EMDR is widely known for treating trauma, it is also highly effective in addressing grief, anxiety, depression, and other distressing life experiences.
In addition to EMDR, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Play Therapy techniques. I work with children, adolescents, and adults who are navigating trauma, life transitions, anxiety, and relationship challenges.
I am a Clinical Psychologist who is licensed in Washington State, Arizona, and Florida. For the past ten years, I have been working with adult clients who are seeking a meaningful psychotherapy experience to achieve positive therapeutic outcomes as well as those who would like to reduce stress and difficulties to enjoy a higher quality of life. Throughout my career, I have worked with clients with various disorders, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, Autistic syndrome, schizophrenia, and pain disorders at various settings including inpatient, outpatient and group settings, private practice, and government organizations.
